PATHHEAD PLAYERS
There are so many people, businesses and organisations who contribute in one way or another
to ensure we can keep providing the entertainment that we enjoy doing.
No doubt we have missed someone out and if that person was you, sorry, let us know and we'll sort it.
Pathhead Community Association are responsible for the management of the Community Hall
Caroline at The Stair Arms generously gives us space for meetings, rehearsals and beer when we need it.
Colin Robertson runs Coldwell's Art Company & Framing Service with his wife Sue from Coldwell's Farm House, Edgehead (0131 663 1203) and along with Fraser, painted our panto scenery for several years and sometimes called upon to help out with painting special bits for the play that gave it that extra something. Unfortunately for us Colin is now so busy (and if you have seen any of his work you'll understand why) that he just doesn't have the time to do the scenery for us. Thank you Colin and Fraser for all the years and magnificent sets you gave us.
Every year, around early to mid November a banner goes up in front of the community hall telling passers by of the pantomime and in the spring another proclaims the dates of our play. We have to thank our supplier for this advertising.
And of course, no point in us staging a production if people can't buy tickets. So we record our appreciation to Bits and Bobbs in Mayfield, Wahlberg's Bakers and Pathhead Post Office for selling tickets.
We need all the publicity we can get and it only took an email to Black Diamond Community Radio to have them regularly tell listeners about us. If you can't get a good signal, just listen on line for great music and loads of local stuff.
Our thanks also go to Rev D Graham Leitch for giving us space in the Tyne Valley Parishes news letter 'Grapevine'. You can find up to date news on what's happening in the parishes on their web pages at Tyne Valley Parishes
And the ones that we sincerely thank for giving us the facility to bring these pages to you online are Nick and Irene who have returned north of the Border to the Union and Forth & Clyde Canals, based at the Falkirk Wheel. Read about what they can offer you by way of a relaxing holiday at Hotel Narrowboat Willow.
